Description

Lead backend modernization efforts by designing, coding, and deploying scalable APIs in Golang and Scala.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain production-grade APIs using Golang and Scala.
• Own the full software lifecycle, including coding, testing, and deployment to AWS.
• Design and prioritize new features based on technical requirements.
• Interface with tech leaders and partners to define technical scope.
• Drive operational conversations with stakeholders to align on delivery.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Golang and/or Scala.
• Expertise in API development and code testing.
• Hands-on experience deploying codebases into production.
• Experience with AWS services: S3, EC2, ECS, Lambda, Faregate, and EMR.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java.
• Background working in Agile methodologies.
