Description

Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and warehouses on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes and data models for BigQuery and data lakes.
• Implement secure, efficient data pipelines using Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Run.
• Automate deployments and infrastructure using Terraform, Cloud Build, and CI/CD.
• Manage security, compliance, and cost optimization via IAM, encryption, and query tuning.

Required Skills

• 8+ years in data engineering with strong GCP expertise.
• Hands-on experience with BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, AlloyDB, Pub/Sub, and IAM.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Linux scripting.
• Experience with ETL tools like Datastage, Informatica, or SSIS.
• Knowledge of data modeling (star/snowflake) and warehouse concepts.
• Understanding of CI/CD, Git, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

Preferred Skills

• Google Cloud Platform Professional Data Engineer or Cloud Architect certification.
• Experience integrating on-premise and cloud systems via APIs.
