Description

You will design, build, and optimize data pipelines and analytics solutions within the Google Cloud Platform environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop ETL/ELT processes to extract, transform, and load data into BigQuery or target systems.
• Build and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data lakes for reporting.
• Design and implement scalable, secure data pipelines using Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, Python, and Linux scripting.
• Optimize BigQuery queries, manage partitioning, and handle cost optimization.
• Collaborate with data teams to deliver high-quality data solutions and implement governance best practices.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of data engineering experience, preferably in a cloud setting.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on GCP expertise, specifically with BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, IAM, and Cloud Run.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Linux scripting.
• Experience with ETL tools like DataStage, Informatica, or SSIS.
• Understanding of data modeling concepts (star/snowflake) and data warehousing principles.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CI/CD practices.
