Description

You will design, build, and optimize data pipelines and analytics solutions within Google Cloud Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop ETL/ELT processes to extract, transform, and load data into BigQuery or target systems.
• Build and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data lakes for analytics and reporting.
• Design and implement scalable, secure data pipelines on GCP using Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, Python, and Linux scripting.
• Optimize BigQuery queries, manage partitioning, and handle cost optimization.
• Integrate data from on-premise and cloud systems using Cloud Storage and APIs.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably in a cloud environment.
• 3+ years of hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform services: BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, IAM.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Linux scripting.
• Experience with ETL/ELT development and tools (e.g., DataStage, Informatica, SSIS).
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts (star/snowflake) and data warehousing.
• Understanding of CI/CD, version control (Git), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Experience securing data using IAM roles, encryption, and network controls.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with on-premise to cloud integration patterns.
