Description

You will lead observability delivery for clients, owning the design and implementation of monitoring solutions using Grafana and the wider ecosystem.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Implement, administer, and optimize Grafana in production environments for technical and executive audiences.
• Build dashboards, configure data sources, and write complex queries using PromQL and other ecosystem tools.
• Configure alerting workflows, notification routing, and escalation patterns to improve alert quality.
• Own technical workstreams in client-facing delivery environments with minimal oversight.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in observability, SRE, DevOps, or platform engineering.
• 2+ years of hands-on Grafana production experience.
• Strong proficiency with Prometheus and PromQL.
• Experience with at least one Grafana ecosystem component: Loki, Tempo, Mimir, Grafana Alloy, or OpenTelemetry Collector.
• Knowledge of SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and service-level reporting.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Linux, or Windows.
• Scripting or IaC skills using Python, Bash, PowerShell, Terraform, Helm, or CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with distributed systems monitoring and telemetry collection.
• Strong consulting soft skills, including stakeholder management and technical documentation.
