Description

You will design, build, configure, integrate, and support solutions on the Guidewire InsuranceSuite platform for P&C business enhancements.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Participate in scrum/agile teams to deliver features and enhancements on PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs using out-of-the-box or custom Guidewire solutions.
• Configure and customize Guidewire modules including rules, product model, data model, UI (PCF), workflows, and integrations.
• Design, build, and unit test code and integrations, ensuring high code coverage and adherence to best practices.
• Implement and support integrations between Guidewire and external systems using REST/SOAP web services and messaging.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of relevant experience, including 4+ years on Guidewire within a P&C insurance domain.
• Strong proficiency in Java and working within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Hands-on experience configuring Guidewire modules (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter): product model, rules, workflows, PCF.
• Familiarity with Gosu and REST/SOAP web services.
• Experience with databases, specifically Oracle and SQL.
• Ability to gather requirements from business stakeholders and convert them to technical designs.
• Experience implementing integrations using various frameworks.
