Description

You will design, develop, and implement data solutions on the Hadoop platform, owning the full lifecycle from algorithm design to deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex data processing algorithms in real time using Scala or Java.
• Develop, debug, and maintain software applications that support business units.
• Perform data analysis and mining to support technical implementations and Big Data architecture.
• Collaborate with QA and performance testing teams to ensure software meets tollgate requirements.
• Design and develop technical solutions utilizing big data technologies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Hadoop and related technologies including MapReduce, HDFS, Spark, Kafka, and Hive.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java and OOP languages.
• Hands-on experience with Scala, Python, and Unix Shell Scripting.
• Proven experience with NoSQL databases such as HBase, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
• Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages like Python, Shell, or Perl.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.

Preferred Skills

• Solid understanding of the Linux operating system.
• Experience with analytical programming using R.
