Description

You will design databases and develop dashboards to support customer requirements using large-scale datasets.

Responsibilities

• Translate raw data from multiple sources into aggregate datasets via ETL processes.
• Optimize data grouping, filtering, and sorting for improved presentation and performance.
• Provide production support by analyzing customer queries and adjusting processes.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to acquire information for product design.
• Resolve business process conflicts and report status to management.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of programming experience in large relational database environments.
• 6+ years of strong SQL experience, preferably Oracle dialect.
• 3+ years of SQL using Hadoop-based technologies (Hive, Spark, Impala).
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, modeling, and technical documentation.
• 3+ years of scripting experience in Linux shell, Python, or Perl.
• Deep understanding of relational database concepts and performance design impacts.
• Expertise in large database optimization (indexing, partitioning) in Hadoop.
• Proficiency with version control systems (CVS, SVN, or Git).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with streaming technologies like Kafka and Spark Streaming.
• Experience with Drill, Tableau, or advanced MS Excel.
