This role is remote.

Responsibilities

  • Design logical drawings for interconnected electronic components and plan analog/digital circuit implementations.
  • Convert schematic diagrams into physically routed PCB layouts, optimizing for EMC/EMI, power integrity, signal integrity, and thermal management.
  • Conduct circuit analysis, simulation, and calculations to ensure designs meet functional requirements and performance characteristics.
  • Verify hardware designs through parametric, functional, EMC/EMI, and environmental testing, ensuring compatibility with mechanical product designs.
  • Maintain the ECAD library by creating component entries, symbols, footprints, and models, and manage technical documentation release in the PLM system.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in hardware engineering, specifically in PCB design and analog/digital circuit implementation.
  • Proficiency with ECAD tools for schematic capture, component placement, and PCB routing.
  • Strong understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, thermal characteristics, and EMC/EMI principles.
  • Experience with circuit simulation tools, specifically SPICE.
  • Ability to design and set requirements for test equipment and test software for hardware verification.
