Description

Lead the multi-stage migration of Informatica PowerCenter from version 8.1.1 to version 10.5.

Responsibilities

• Execute step-by-step migration of Informatica objects, workflows, worklets, and tasks across multiple software versions.
• Define hardware specifications for virtual servers and install/configure PowerCenter components, clients, ODBC, and repository servers on Windows 2019/2022.
• Manage repository upgrades, backups, and verification processes for each version transition.
• Perform knowledge transfer and training for client administrators and developers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
• Proven experience performing Informatica PowerCenter upgrade migrations.
• Hands-on experience with software installation across multiple versions.
• Ability to spec out hardware requirements for virtual server environments.
• End-to-end ETL process development experience in Informatica.
• Deep knowledge of data modeling, transformations, mappings, and workflows.
• Proficiency in standard SQL.
• Ability to apply best practices to ETL development, testing, scheduling, and monitoring.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with legacy Informatica PowerCenter versions, specifically 8.1.1.
• Informatica Certified Professional status.
• Experience with performance tuning.
