Description

You will maintain the security posture of complex information systems and interconnected networks, defending against unauthorized access and data breaches.

Responsibilities

• Detect and respond to agency-wide security incidents, coordinating cross-functional teams to eradicate threats.
• Monitor emerging threats and vulnerabilities to develop scalable preventative security measures.
• Design cybersecurity architecture and implement security strategies to protect network infrastructure.
• Develop, execute, and track the performance of security measures and standard operating procedures.
• Act as a liaison between third-party federal partners and internal stakeholders to resolve security efforts.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience with security technologies: full packet capture, SIEM, NGFW, and IDPS.
• Experience integrating, deploying, and operating SIEM and SOAR systems.
• Hands-on experience investigating security events using Microsoft Defender and Crowdstrike.
• Deep knowledge across endpoint security, identity management, cloud security, MDM, vulnerability management, incident response, and threat intelligence.
• Experience meeting regulatory requirements for IRS, SSA, and CMS.
• 8+ years of proficiency with the MS Office suite.
• 8+ years of experience writing technical documentation in explanatory and procedural styles.
• Security+ certification.
• CISSP, CeH, CISA, or CISM certifications.
