Description

Lead and execute complex data migration projects involving legacy file shares, SharePoint environments, and OneDrive data.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Utilize enterprise migration platforms, specifically Quest Migration, and develop custom scripts to automate data transfer, synchronization, and reporting processes.
• Perform rigorous pre- and post-migration data validation to ensure accuracy, security, and compliance of all transferred data.
• Plan and manage delta syncs to minimize business disruption during migration windows.
• Identify and troubleshoot migration errors or bottlenecks, ensuring a seamless and compliant cutover process.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, or systems administration with a focus on enterprise data migrations.
• Deep technical knowledge of SharePoint Online and complex legacy File Share environments.
• Proven experience with Quest Migration tools or similar enterprise-grade migration software.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python to automate tasks and streamline migration processes.
• Strong background in data validation methodologies, ensuring security, compliance, and data integrity.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing large-scale OneDrive migrations.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks relevant to data transfer.
