Description

Manage and automate containerized workloads and infrastructure components for on-prem or public cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage container workloads deployed on Kubernetes.
• Automate infrastructure components, including servers, VMs, and network elements, using Ansible.
• Maintain Docker images and oversee registry operations and image management.
• Configure Kubernetes ingress using NGINX, Istio, and Calico network policies.
• Document system administration processes and standard operating procedures.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in IT or operations.
• 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes workloads, including image management and registry operations.
• 2+ years of experience with Ansible for infrastructure automation.
• 2+ years of experience managing Kubernetes ingress with NGINX, Istio, and Calico.
• 2+ years of experience building and maintaining Docker images.
• 3+ years of experience writing technical documentation or standard operating procedures.
• 1+ year of experience using ServiceNow for incident and service request management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Social Science, or a related field (equivalent work experience may be substituted).

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years of experience with cloud-native applications including Grafana, Prometheus, Mongo, and Postgres.
