Description

You will design, operate, and automate hybrid infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage virtualized environments using VMware vSphere, Proxmox VE, and OpenStack for Linux and Windows workloads.
• Build and automate OS provisioning, golden images, and templates across hypervisors and cloud platforms.
• Configure core infrastructure services including DNS, DHCP, NTP, Active Directory/LDAP, and IAM/AAA.
• Operate Kubernetes clusters (on-prem and managed services like OpenShift, AKS, EKS, GKE), managing worker lifecycles, CNI, and ingress.
• Administer Cisco network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, VLANs, and routing policies.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking and VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter).
• Proficiency in at least one of Proxmox VE or OpenStack.
• Solid administration experience in Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) and Windows Server.
• Working knowledge of Azure and AWS compute, networking, storage, and IAM.
• Experience deploying and operating Kubernetes clusters on-prem and in the cloud.
• Practical experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms for incident and change management.
• Understanding of storage fundamentals (SAN, NAS, iSCSI, NFS, RAID, snapshots).
• Ability to create accurate network diagrams and technical documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with GCP/GKE and enterprise firewalls (e.g., Cisco ASA/FTD).
• Prior participation in CAB meetings and structured root-cause analysis.
