Description

You will design, implement, and maintain network and virtual infrastructure to support business initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement leaf-spine network solutions, translating complex business requirements into technical architectures.
• Manage and monitor virtual environments containing over 400 Windows and Red Hat VMs on Nutanix Acropolis.
• Maintain Arista LAN and Wi-Fi infrastructure while providing day-to-day operational support.
• Partner with security teams to remediate vulnerabilities and ensure endpoint and data infrastructure security.
• Mentor junior engineers and document infrastructure assets, processes, and implementation plans.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure operations and project delivery.
• Expert level experience in routing, switching, Wi-Fi, and network packet brokers.
• Deep knowledge of Ethernet, VLANs, VxLAN, VPN, IP Routing, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, IPsec, MACsec, Multicast, QoS, and 802.1X.
• Extensive experience with Nutanix hyper-converged infrastructure and data-center management.
• Advanced proficiency with Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft DNS, DHCP, and DFS.
• Strong proficiency in PowerShell for task automation.
• Experience working within an ITIL-based service management environment.
• Proven ability to manage service requests and resolve incidents within documented SLA timings.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Arista Wi-Fi platforms, Palo Alto firewalls, or Citrix NetScaler.
• Working knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Rubrik backup architecture, or Public Key Infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Commonwealth of VA Information Security Standard (SEC530).
