Description

Lead the technical direction of the iOS team while developing native components for a large-scale ecommerce application.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native iOS components, including navigation, informational features, and user interfaces for grocery selection.
• Lead technical planning and implementation decisions for the iOS team, ensuring alignment with product goals.
• Translate requirements, wireframes, and mock-ups into reusable components and layouts.
• Implement infrastructure and middleware components to meet SLA, scalability, and disaster recovery needs.
• Mentor junior developers and write clean, maintainable code to raise engineering standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in iOS development.
• Expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
• Strong understanding of native iOS development principles and architecture patterns that promote decoupling, code reuse, and testability.
• Experience with concurrency and performance optimization using Grand Central Dispatch and Operation Queues.
• Proficiency with iOS build, test, debug, and CI/CD tools for large-scale applications.
• Experience managing change and release management practices.
• Ability to provide off-hours support as required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ecommerce app development.
• Knowledge of Accessibility and Security standards.
