Description

Own the end-to-end delivery of large-scale AML technology solutions, including AKS cluster architecture, JBoss deployments, and PostgreSQL database management.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, handling upgrades, scaling, and networking.
• Design and maintain Helm charts for JBoss-based application deployments across Dev, QA, and Prod environments.
• Administer and tune JBoss EAP in containerized environments, optimizing JVM, GC, and thread pools.
• Implement observability using Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana for JVM and pod metrics.
• Manage PostgreSQL databases, including performance tuning, high availability, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Deep expertise with Kubernetes (AKS), Helm, and container orchestration.
• Proficiency in Bash and Python for automation scripts and operations.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka or Azure Service Bus for high-volume messaging.
• Strong knowledge of Grafana, Prometheus, and Azure Monitor for observability.
• Experience administering PostgreSQL, including performance tuning and HA strategies.
• Understanding of JBoss EAP tuning and optimization.
• Familiarity with Azure Key Vault, Workload Identity, and secure ingress via Application Gateway.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting AML name screening platforms (e.g., Actimize).
• Knowledge of banking security standards, including RBAC, encryption, and audit logging.
