There are already around 30 enhancement requests, and in parallel, a significant NPI program is expected to begin. The current split is approximately:

• 50% supporting NPI
• 50% supporting ERP integration

The acquired entity has already completed HR, network, and other integration work, but the Oracle portion is still outstanding. There are also additional acquisitions in the pipeline, and the long-term strategy is to bring all acquired businesses onto Oracle.

Systems / Future-State Environment

The company recently implemented Oracle and is now focused on stabilization. Over time, the environment is expected to evolve toward:

• Oracle EBS
• broader cloud adoption
• CPQ in the cloud
• future planning and logistics capabilities in EBS

Industry Background

Industry experience is important. The client strongly prefers someone from semiconductor equipment or a similar high-tech manufacturing environment—especially companies that build large, complex machines used in chip manufacturing.

Experience in finished goods manufacturing is highly relevant, particularly in environments where a product is highly configured and built from many components. For example, the product may be a finished good priced around 100, but built from 900 parts—similar in complexity to building a car.

Global Scope

This is a global environment with significant presence in Asia, including Taiwan, Korea, and Japan, while financial operations are based in the U.S. The project manager will most likely be supporting teams in the U.S. and Japan entity.

• 7+ years of experience in project management, or program management, preferably in semiconductor equipment, high-tech manufacturing, or capital equipment industries 
• Proven experience managing cross-functional, global projects with tangible operational outcomes 
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud & SAP
• Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, and influencing skills across organizational boundaries 
• Strong program/project management skills (PMP certification is a plus) 
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems and translate them into executable plans 
• Excellent analytical skills with experience using data to drive operational decisions
