Description

You will lead large, complex IT projects within the healthcare domain, managing everything from third-party application implementations to infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed project plans, scope documents, issue lists, and all necessary project documentation.
  • Define, test, and install clinical applications and IT initiatives based on business requirements and best practices.
  • Act as a liaison between business departments, the project committee, Information Services, and external vendors.
  • Mentor and train members of the PMO team and IT analysts.
  • Manage both purchased and in-house developed hardware and software applications.

Required Skills

  • 8-10 years of related work experience, including at least 7 years of formal Project Management.
  • 5 years of experience working in IT or with systems.
  • 2 years of experience using Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.
  • Extensive experience with HL7, EHR, and healthcare clinical applications.
  • Technical experience with PACS, Epic, and EHR 3rd Party APS.
  • Proficiency in managing infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, middleware, and desktop environments.
  • Advanced ability to create Business Requirements, Project Plans, and Project Schedules.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Preferred Skills

  • PMP Certification.
  • Master's degree.
