You will lead large, complex IT projects within the healthcare domain, managing everything from third-party application implementations to infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed project plans, scope documents, issue lists, and all necessary project documentation.
- Define, test, and install clinical applications and IT initiatives based on business requirements and best practices.
- Act as a liaison between business departments, the project committee, Information Services, and external vendors.
- Mentor and train members of the PMO team and IT analysts.
- Manage both purchased and in-house developed hardware and software applications.
Required Skills
- 8-10 years of related work experience, including at least 7 years of formal Project Management.
- 5 years of experience working in IT or with systems.
- 2 years of experience using Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.
- Extensive experience with HL7, EHR, and healthcare clinical applications.
- Technical experience with PACS, Epic, and EHR 3rd Party APS.
- Proficiency in managing infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, middleware, and desktop environments.
- Advanced ability to create Business Requirements, Project Plans, and Project Schedules.
- Bachelor's degree required.
