Description

Own end-to-end delivery of complex IT projects, managing scope, timelines, and stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute comprehensive project plans, defining requirements with key stakeholders and ensuring alignment with EOHHS standards.
• Monitor project development, managing scope and change control processes while tracking tasks, timelines, and resources against milestones.
• Prepare and publish project documentation, including detailed status reports, risk mitigation strategies, and defect tracking records for the Director of Enterprise Project Management.
• Ensure effective communication between technical and non-technical teams, facilitating requirements gathering, document reviews, and approvals.
• Mentor junior PMO staff and manage resources under a matrix reporting structure, resolving conflicts and building consensus.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing multiple high-profile, complex IT projects concurrently with full financial accountability.
• Proven experience managing large-scale applications with multiple interfaces across various environments.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Project Management Institute (PMI) PMP Certified.
• Deep understanding of SDLC, including workflows for requirements gathering, testing, and delivery.
• Proficiency in project management tools including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Project, and Visio.
• Strong ability to negotiate stakeholder needs, manage risks, and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with State Government Health and Human Services (HHS) programs or State Insurance Exchanges.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related technical field.
