Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable API services using Java and Spring Boot in a microservices architecture. You will own the full lifecycle of backend components, from code implementation to deployment, while collaborating with stakeholders to define technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RESTful and SOAP web services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement microservices patterns using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Write efficient code leveraging data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
• Manage source control, build pipelines, and issue tracking using Git, Team City, and JIRA.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Java and the Java standard library.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and database technologies (Oracle or MongoDB).
• Proficiency with Git, JIRA, and CI/CD tools like Team City.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and OOP principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SOAP web services in addition to REST.
• Proven ability to coordinate effectively with diverse technical stakeholders.
