Description

Lead backend development and design scalable architectures for high-performance web services and microservices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, reliable web services and microservices using Java EE technologies.
• Transform complex requirements into robust software designs using OOP principles and design patterns.
• Own code quality by enforcing coding standards, craftsmanship, and automated testing.
• Lead technical initiatives within an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Build and maintain backend systems using modern storage solutions and JDBC.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional backend development experience, including technical leadership.
• Expertise in Java and Java EE technologies, including JMS, JPA, and Spring MVC.
• Strong proficiency in Hibernate and ORM frameworks.
• Extensive experience with REST APIs, HTTP, and web service standards.
• Solid understanding of OOP, MVC, and design patterns.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with NoSQL or modern database technologies.
• Experience with JDBC and Oracle databases.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Identity standards and domain expertise.
• Provision of a GitHub account or code samples.
