Description

You will build and maintain distributed systems as a Senior Backend Engineer.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop distributed systems using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement event-driven services using Kafka.
• Design and maintain REST APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
• Apply TDD and BDD methodologies to ensure code quality.
• Manage data persistence using Document DB technologies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with JUnit, TDD, and BDD (e.g., Cucumber-JVM).
• Practical knowledge of Kafka and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with Document DBs such as MongoDB or DynamoDB.
• Implementation of REST APIs and GraphQL.
• Knowledge of JWT and OAuth for security.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud environments.
• Ability to develop on Mac OS.
