Description

You will build, prototype, and operationalize RESTful back-end services within AWS serverless and multi-tier architectures.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance back-end services hosted on AWS EC2 and serverless environments.
• Collaborate with technical leads and architects to develop prototypes and low-level design documents.
• Participate in agile scrum ceremonies, requirements analysis, and work effort estimation.
• Automate unit testing, deployment, and validation processes to ensure service quality.
• Support the productionization of reusable frameworks and the modernization of existing services.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Java technologies.
• Proven experience working within the AWS cloud platform.
• Expertise implementing RESTful services using RDBMS and NoSQL databases including DynamoDB, MongoDB, Postgres, and Elastic Cache.
• Proficiency with GitHub and CI/CD deployment tools.
• Experience with testing and code quality tools such as JUnit, JFrog Xray, and SonarQube.
• Strong understanding of unit testing methodologies and release planning.
• Engineering degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the automotive domain, specifically within Telematics.
• Background in global implementations and production support.
