Description

You will design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for digital products, owning the full lifecycle from shippable code to production release.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop reusable RESTful APIs, shippable code, documentation, and unit tests.
• Collaborate with API Developers, Team Leads, and Architects to integrate systems and ensure security.
• Implement data access controls, monitoring events, and resolve system or data issues to ensure API continuity.
• Perform pair programming, communicate technical ideas, and assist with system integration and performance testing.
• Partner with Quality, Product, and Cloud Engineering teams to maintain functional and secure digital assets.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of API or server-side development experience (e.g., Backend Services, Middleware, or Programmer roles).
• Strong programming proficiency in Java or JavaScript.
• 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (EC2, Lambda), including micro-services development.
• 5+ years of experience with CI/CD solutions and containerization (Docker).
• 5+ years of experience developing NoSQL databases, designing data models, and querying document stores (MongoDB required).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and S3.
• Knowledge of API security frameworks, token management (OAuth, JWT), and OpenAPI.
• Familiarity with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with message queue systems and background task management.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with C# or Node.js in backend contexts.
