Description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and distributed systems at internet scale.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable backend services using Java.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code following established standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues within backend systems.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and product managers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to the engineering team.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java programming and the Java ecosystem.
• Extensive experience building RESTful APIs.
• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, operating systems, networking, and databases.
• Experience with Large-Scale Distributed Systems.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, specifically MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
