Description

You will build and maintain scalable server-side logic and microservices architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend systems using clean, maintainable Java code.
• Implement RESTful APIs and microservices to power application functionality.
• Optimize database designs for performance and integrity using SQL or NoSQL.
• Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic in collaboration with front-end teams.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure high-quality deployments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong expertise in Java 8+ and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data).
• Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful services.
• Proficiency in SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Git and Agile tools like JIRA.
• Experience with automated testing using JUnit and Mockito.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Preferred Skills

• Experience deploying and managing services in cloud environments.
