Lead backend development and architectural design for scalable software systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build web services and microservices in a commercial environment.
• Transform complex requirements into scalable software designs using OOP principles.
• Implement software with a focus on reliability, availability, scalability, and performance.
• Advocate for code craftsmanship, coding standards, and automated testing.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in backend development and technical leadership.
• Expertise in Java EE technologies including Java language, application servers, servlet containers, JMS, and JPA.
• Strong proficiency with Spring MVC, Hibernate, and ORM frameworks.
• Extensive experience designing and building REST APIs and web services.
• Solid understanding of SQL, NoSQL, and modern database storage technologies.
• Knowledge of JDBC and Oracle databases.
• Competency in software engineering tools, Java build tools, unit testing, and continuous integration.
• Experience with SOA standards including REST, OAuth, JSON, SOAP, and WSDL.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Identity standards and domain knowledge.
• Provision of GitHub account or code samples.
