Description

You will build and maintain backend services within an ecommerce environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement distributed messaging systems using Kafka.
• Manage containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Provision infrastructure through Terraform and AWS.
• Maintain data integrity across Postgres SQL and MongoDB databases.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Strong knowledge of Postgres SQL and MongoDB.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Jenkins.
• Working knowledge of Kafka.
• Familiarity with design patterns and Agile methodology.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using automated test frameworks.

Education

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
