Description

You will design, build, and maintain large-scale distributed backend services and microservices architectures.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement critical production systems and web services using Java.
• Build well-structured, testable code following object-oriented and systems engineering principles.
• Develop and maintain applications in a cloud-based environment.
• Modify or extend open-source software to meet specific requirements.
• Implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep knowledge of Java and Microservices patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and building REST APIs.
• Experience with distributed systems design and implementation.
• Proficiency in Git or other Source Code Management (SCM) systems.
• Experience with build automation tools like Maven, Ant, or Gradle.
• Familiarity with databases including Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka.
• Understanding of continuous integration using Jenkins.
