You will design, develop, and scale Java-based applications while leading technical initiatives and mentoring the team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable Java server-side applications using Spring Microservices.
• Execute strategic engineering proof of concepts and evaluate new products.
• Interface with the product team to gather and translate business requirements.
• Deliver well-instrumented systems that provide operational metrics and issue insights.
• Review team members' code to ensure adherence to engineering standards.

Required Skills

• 7-10 years of professional software development experience.
• 3-4 years of experience serving as a technical lead.
• Deep expertise in Java server-side development with Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
• Proficiency with ORM frameworks and Object-Oriented Design (OOD).
• Strong understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments and Shell scripting.
• Knowledge of ESQL/DB (Sybase or Oracle).

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with market data systems.
• Experience working with streaming data systems.
