Description

You will lead API implementation and architecture design for application teams.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and lead API implementation.
• Maintain API documentation and ensure design quality via logging, monitoring, and tracing.
• Troubleshoot production issues, deployments, and platform accessibility using root cause analysis.
• Implement security standards, perform threat modeling, and conduct risk assessments.
• Contribute to technical user story grooming and participate in Agile ceremonies.

Required Skills

• 10+ years as a full stack software developer in Java.
• 6+ years building API architecture for REST APIs, Microservices, and SOAP.
• 5+ years managing microservices in AWS or other cloud platforms using container technologies.
• 3+ years developing serverless applications using AWS technologies.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols including OAuth, SAML, and OWASP standards.
• Experience with Event Driven Architecture, message-based architectures, and caching strategies.
• Proficiency with document storage solutions like DynamoDB, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and container orchestration.
• Experience using JIRA, Confluence, and GitLab or other Git-based source control.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
