Description

You will design, develop, and maintain technical assets within SOA, web services, and integration environments.

You will own the full lifecycle of web services and microservices, ensuring robust integration across distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy web services and microservices using Spring Boot and Java/J2EE.
• Develop and maintain integration assets within an SOA environment, leveraging SOAP, REST, and related protocols.
• Implement authentication and authorization protocols, including SAML, OAuth, and Single Sign On.
• Manage data persistence using JPA, Hibernate, and both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Test and maintain technical assets using JUnit and Mockito to ensure code quality and stability.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of IT experience with 5+ years focused on web service development and integration.
• Strong proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and the Spring Framework (including Spring Batch and MVC).
• Deep knowledge of SOAP, REST, WSDL, BPEL, JMS, XML, XSLT, XQUERY, and XSD.
• Experience with object-relational mapping tools like JPA and Hibernate.
• Proficiency with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with SVN, GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Git Actions, and SonarQube.
• Competency in Unix shell scripting or Perl.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tooling, including Jira and Confluence.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DevOps practices in a cloud environment.
• Experience using WebSphere, JBoss, or Tomcat application servers.
