Responsibilities

• Develop server-side logic using Java 11, including generics, lambdas, and concurrency.
• Implement messaging, security, and JPA for data persistence and communication.
• Build and maintain RESTful services and socket-based applications.
• Apply design patterns and test-driven development within an agile environment.
• Solve complex analytical problems related to distributed processing and threading.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java server-side development.
• Proficiency with Java 11, threads, sockets, and concurrency.
• Experience with Spring framework and JPA.
• Strong understanding of REST, messaging, and security protocols.
• Practical application of design patterns and distributed processing.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Proven track record of delivery in agile environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Sybase, Python, Linux shell, Kdb, or Java Swing.
• Background in Equity Derivatives.
