Description

You will design and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot. You own the full lifecycle of REST and SOAP APIs, ensuring they handle high-volume traffic efficiently. You implement asynchronous messaging systems and manage data persistence across relational and NoSQL databases. You collaborate with business partners to translate technical requirements into working software within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop REST APIs capable of handling high volume client traffic.
• Build and maintain SOAP web services and asynchronous messaging systems.
• Manage data persistence using both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Develop software within an Agile environment, covering design, development, and testing.
• Collaborate with internal and external business partners to meet technical requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8 or later and Core Java.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
• Experience with SOAP web services.
• Proficiency with Kafka for asynchronous messaging.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of the financial industry.
• Experience maintaining or contributing to open source projects.
• Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.
