Description

You will design and develop backend microservices using Java and the Spring framework.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build RESTful APIs and microservices running on Kubernetes within Docker containers.
• Develop Kafka producers using Spring to write business events to designated topics.
• Translate functional requirements into technical designs and participate in strategic planning.
• Resolve production defects and participate in Scrum ceremonies.
• Write automated unit tests for all developed components.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of experience in Java coding, design, and technical solution development.
• 5+ years of experience with Spring Framework and RESTful API development.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) design patterns.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with SQL writing for SQL Server or MySQL.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Experience with JUnit for unit testing.
• Knowledge of MQ and microservices architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with API tools like SwaggerHub or Stoplight.
• Knowledge of MongoDB or other memory databases.
• Experience with Web Methods Software AG or other ESB platforms.
