Description

You will design, develop, and maintain enterprise healthcare information technology platforms and applications in Baltimore, MD.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop healthcare applications using n-tier architectures including UI, Business Logic, and Data Access layers.
• Integrate Java applications with business rules engines such as Corticon.
• Design and implement web services and Enterprise Service Bus solutions.
• Maintain and support State-based marketplace (SBM) solutions and Health and Human Service systems.
• Apply Java design patterns and SOA principles to enterprise solutions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience designing, developing, or supporting enterprise IT platforms and applications.
• 6+ years of experience developing State-based marketplace (SBM) solutions, Health and Human Service systems, or Affordable Care Act (ACA) solutions.
• 6+ years of experience architecting healthcare applications in Java with business rules engine integration.
• Strong proficiency with Java/J2EE, Spring, Struts, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Experience with Web Services, REST Services, and SOA.
• Hands-on experience with Eclipse IDE and SVN/GIT.
• Proven experience working with n-tier architectures.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Corticon for health exchange or eligibility systems, specifically embedding ACA eligibility rules.
• 5+ years of front-end integration experience working with development and testing teams to deploy business rules.
• 5+ years of experience developing complex SQL queries in PostgreSQL or other relational database systems.
