Description

You will design, develop, and lead full-stack Java applications in a DevOps environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC.
• Design and implement database components using PostgreSQL or Oracle.
• Architect and deploy cloud-native applications onto AWS.
• Lead project work by identifying requirements and implementing solutions.
• Apply quality techniques including TDD, automated unit testing, and performance analysis.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Batch, and Spring Messaging.
• Front-end development experience with Angular (2+), HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Deep understanding of Hibernate, JPA, and JDBC.
• Knowledge of OOP, Twelve-Factor App design, and API styles (REST/Web API).
• Experience with Microservices, SOA, Layered, Clean, and Event Sourcing architectures.
• Proficiency with Git, BitBucket, Jenkins, Maven, and Nexus.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or Oracle database design.
• Familiarity with AWS (S3) and OpenShift.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with UrbanCode Deploy, XML/XSLT, and VisualVM/Eclipse Profiler.
• Familiarity with Jira/VersionOne and DevOps automation.
