Description

Build customer-centric software products and microservices within a global cross-functional team.

You will own the design, development, and maintenance of core Java applications, RESTful APIs, and database systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications using core Java (8+) and RESTful microservices architecture.
• Analyze existing implementations to identify improvements and provide feature implementation estimates.
• Design and manage SQL-based databases, implementing security and data protection features.
• Collaborate using Git to deliver clean, well-documented code in a multi-developer environment.
• Maintain documentation for team processes, best practices, and software runbooks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Java 8 and above.
• Proficiency with SQL-based technologies and relational databases like Oracle or PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience designing and constructing REST APIs within a microservices architecture.
• Experience with Kafka or messaging systems such as ActiveMQ.
• Strong understanding of Data Structures, Software Design Principles, and the SDLC.
• Experience implementing testing platforms, unit tests, and test-driven development (TDD) techniques.
• Background in developing Banking or Financial Services applications.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud development experience, specifically with AWS.
• Front-end knowledge of Angular JS, React, Amber, HTML/CSS, XML, or jQuery.
• Knowledge of non-relational databases including MongoDB and Hadoop.
