Description

You will build and maintain backend services for a modern financial product.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java, Microservices, and APIs on Azure.
• Build scalable, secure services, implementing patterns like Circuit Breaker or Saga.
• Participate in code reviews, adhering to established coding standards and refactoring efforts.
• Collaborate with QA and DevOps to integrate services into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Troubleshoot defects and performance issues within the service architecture.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Expertise in Java Programming, including OOP, SOLID principles, and Java 8+ features (Lambda, Streams).
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and implementing Dependency Injection.
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying Microservices using Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with Event Streaming using Kafka or Azure Event Hubs.
• Proficiency with containerization technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of CI/CD practices and deployment workflows.
• Experience with API integration, including APIGEE and OAuth tokens.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure cloud services.
• Agile methodology experience.
