Description

You will design and develop scalable software for large-scale industrial systems using Java and Kotlin.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test software using object-oriented design and established design patterns.
• Contribute to the architecture of new and current systems to ensure reliability and scaling.
• Apply data structures and algorithms to solve complex problems while managing time and space complexity.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows using DevOps practices.
• Explain technical trade-offs and complex concepts clearly to team members.

Required Skills

• 10 years of total software development experience, with at least 8 years of professional, non-internship experience.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java, including Core Java and Spring/SpringBoot frameworks.
• Experience with React JS for front-end development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud environments.
• Practical knowledge of DynamoDB and Redis.
• Experience with messaging services like SQS.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
• Experience with Gradle or Brazil build tools.
• Strong understanding of System Design and architectural trade-offs.

Preferred Skills

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Math, or an algorithmic-centric discipline.
• Experience with multithreading, concurrency, and large-scale data workflows.
