Description

You will design and scale microservices for high-throughput, real-time trading platforms, ensuring ultra-low latency and strict risk controls.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and implementation of distributed microservices using Java and Spring Boot tailored for high-frequency trading.
• Collaborate with Quants and Product Managers to translate complex execution strategies into performant, production-ready code.
• Conduct deep-dive performance tuning, GC optimization, and memory management to maintain sub-millisecond execution speeds.
• Design and enforce "Safe Trading" protocols, including pre-trade risk checks and automated circuit breakers within the microservices mesh.

Required Skills

• Expert-level proficiency in Core Java (v17+), including advanced multi-threading, concurrency patterns, and the Java Memory Model.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud for microservices development.
• Hands-on experience with high-performance messaging middleware such as Apache Kafka, Solace, or Aeron.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of the full trade lifecycle (Order Management, Execution, Clearing, and Settlement).
• Proven track record of building or maintaining algorithmic engines and Smart Order Routing (SOR) systems.
• Understanding of market data structures (L1/L2/L3 books) and regulatory requirements (MiFID II, SEC Rule 606).

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Service Mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd.
• Proficiency in low-latency data stores such as Redis or Hazelcast.
