Description

You will design and scale microservices for high-throughput trading platforms, ensuring ultra-low latency and high availability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of distributed microservices using Java and Spring Boot for high-frequency trading.
• Collaborate with Quants and Product Managers to translate execution strategies into production-ready code.
• Conduct performance tuning, GC optimization, and memory management to maintain sub-millisecond execution speeds.
• Enforce Safe Trading protocols, including pre-trade risk checks and automated circuit breakers.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with Core Java (v17+), including advanced multi-threading, concurrency patterns, and the Java Memory Model.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with high-performance messaging middleware such as Apache Kafka or Solace.
• Proficiency in low-latency data stores (Redis, Hazelcast) and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Deep understanding of the trade lifecycle, execution algorithms, and Smart Order Routing (SOR).
• Commitment to TDD/BDD practices and automated CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Service Mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd.
• Understanding of market data structures (L1/L2/L3) and regulatory requirements (MiFID II, SEC Rule 606).
