Description

You will lead the design, development, and architectural delivery of next-generation education applications for mobile and desktop web.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead design decisions and define architectural approaches to meet business objectives.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and execute the full build lifecycle.
• Develop detailed specifications, application code, unit tests, and system tests.
• Mentor and coach team members while performing code reviews to ensure quality.
• Coordinate software production schedules and support processing.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with J2EE, JSF, Spring, and Hibernate.
• 8+ years of experience with database query languages including SQL and PL/SQL.
• Extensive experience in Java development and building custom Java applications.
• Proficiency with Web Services using REST and SOAP.
• Strong knowledge of XML and JSON binding libraries such as JAXB, Jackson, or Gson.
• Expertise in unit testing using JUnit.
• Experience working with Kubernetes and Docker.
• 2+ years of experience in Agile project management methodologies.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MQ (Websphere MQ or ActiveMQ).
• Experience with BPM software.
• Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
