Description

You will own the development and enhancement of high-performance microservices within a cloud-native AWS environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Write and optimize complex PostgreSQL queries and perform schema tuning.
• Support modernization efforts, including DB2 retirement, and provide production support.
• Develop and maintain AWS-based services and contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Maven.

Required Skills

• 6-8+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience building microservices architectures.
• Expertise with PostgreSQL, including query optimization and schema design.
• Experience deploying services on AWS (Lambda, ECS/EKs, RDS, S3, SQS).
• Experience developing or supporting GraphQL APIs.
• Strong understanding of production support and troubleshooting.
• Experience participating in structured code reviews.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Node.js scripting.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Splunk, Honeycomb, or Grafana.
