Description

You will design, develop, and maintain backend services and microservices-based architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and enhance backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Write and optimize complex PostgreSQL queries and manage schema changes.
• Develop and maintain AWS-based services including Lambda, ECS, RDS, S3, and SQS.
• Support modernization efforts such as DB2 retirement and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building and supporting microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, query optimization, and schema design.
• Experience with AWS services: Lambda, ECS/EKR, RDS, S3, and SQS.
• Experience developing or supporting GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with RESTful API development.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using Maven and modern build tools.
• Experience with production support and troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Python, Node.js, or scripting.
• Experience with observability tools such as Splunk, Honeycomb, or Grafana.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Bruno or Postman.
