Description

You will design, build, and maintain high-performance backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot. You own the full development lifecycle from design and coding to CI/CD integration and production support, while mentoring junior engineers and driving engineering excellence.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-performance services using Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain REST services, asynchronous processing flows, and integration components.
• Own full lifecycle development including design, coding, automated testing, CI/CD, deployment, and production support.
• Apply secure coding standards and best practices for performance, resiliency, and scalability.
• Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with Product, QA, and Architecture teams.

Required Skills

• 8+ years hands-on development experience with Java/J2EE.
• Strong expertise with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
• Experience building microservices architectures and event-driven patterns.
• Strong command of Git, GitHub, and effective daily use of GitHub Copilot for code generation and refactoring.
• Experience with JUnit, Mockito, and automated testing strategies.
• Proficiency with relational databases such as Oracle, Postgres, or MySQL.
• Experience with Redis and Cassandra.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of multithreading, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI-driven tools and development workflows beyond GitHub Copilot.
• Ability to break down complex tasks and deliver clean, maintainable code.
