Description

You will design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize microservices ensuring high availability and low latency.
• Create and maintain system integrations using REST, messaging systems, and event-driven patterns.
• Drive code quality through rigorous unit testing and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and optimize system performance.
• Contribute to technical planning and solution design discussions.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Java (8, 11, or 17) with strong OOP and JVM fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
• Proficiency in developing and integrating RESTful APIs within a microservices architecture.
• Strong SQL skills (MySQL or PostgreSQL) and experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Git and standard branching strategies.
