Description

Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based microservices and modernize legacy applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain microservice applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Modernize legacy systems into cloud-based architectures.
• Integrate services via REST, SOAP, and API web services.
• Support production code migrations and collaborate with business teams.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of application development experience with Java and Cloud technologies.
• Extensive experience with Java J2EE applications.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot, JDBC, and Hibernate.
• Database management and stored procedures using DB2 or Oracle (11g or higher).
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of GitHub for version control.
• Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and cloud-based services.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience working in an onsite/offshore model.
