Description

You will own the analysis, design, coding, and testing for applications built on Java-based technologies.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Java, J2EE, JSP, XML, JDBC, and Servlets.
• Lead and mentor team members while performing senior programming assignments for complex tasks.
• Design, document, and implement software independently or under direction from team leads.
• Maintain and debug existing application code for the "Quantum Plus" project.
• Research, test, and implement new tools with a focus on modern technologies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of prior Java development experience.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SDLC concepts.
• Proficiency in J2EE, JSP, XML, JDBC, and Servlets.
• Experience with WebSphere, Spring, MVC, SQL, PL/SQL, Web services, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Ability to prepare and maintain UML diagrams.
• Proven track record of delivering solid applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interaction with business owners.
